What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant, without the psychoactive effects of THC. Mainly extracted from industrial hemp, it is used for its many therapeutic properties: pain relief, anxiety reduction, anti-inflammatory effects and treatment of certain forms of epilepsy. Consumption methods include oils, capsules, edibles, creams and vaping. The legality of CBD varies, but it is often allowed if it contains less than 0.2% or 0.3% THC.
