No, it frames it. Coolness acts mainly on the finish and leaves the opening to the berries. Compare the two versions side by side and the fruit often reads as sharper on the iced one, because the palate resets between draws.

Does an iced flavour run out faster?

No more than any other. Consumption depends on how often and how long you draw, not on the presence of menthol. That said, many vapers draw more often on a cool flavour, which creates the impression.
