JNR went for the second: a full, round, slightly jammy strawberry with body instead of syrup. It fills the whole draw without ever turning aggressive.

It is a forgiving flavour. You can run it with morning coffee, through the afternoon without thinking, and in the evening without it clashing with anything. Few flavours survive that treatment.

Kiwi, which prevents the shipwreck

Kiwi comes in behind, and it is what saves the whole thing. Without it, strawberry alone would saturate your palate inside three days. Its green, faintly tart edge cuts the sugar and resets the palate on every draw.

It is a thankless job: nobody buys a puff for the kiwi. Take it out, though, and you get a flavour you abandon halfway through. Across 22 ml of e-liquid, that small acidity is not a detail, it is the reason you finish the bottle.
