Vaping vs Tobacco: Is there a real cost saving?

Even if you vape like a chimney, tobacco is still a total financial train wreck. A pack-a-day smoker dumps about €4,300 a year into the fire. In comparison, with a realistic vape budget of €800, you’re saving €3,500 a year. Within two months of vaping, you’ve already paid for your gear and juice for the year. It’s a no-brainer, unless you hate money.

From an accounting perspective, the savings ratio is roughly 1 to 5. While a pack of cigarettes costs €12, a full day of vaping (juice + coil wear) costs about €2.20. The real savings are massive because vaping isn't yet taxed at 80% like combustible tobacco, benefiting from a much less punitive status.
