What ohm rating should you aim for?
The ideal ohm value doesn't exist; it all depends on your equipment and preferences. For a tight, flavor-focused draw (MTL), aim for between 0.8 and 1.5 ohms. If you prefer chasing big clouds with direct lung inhalation (DL), stay between 0.15 and 0.5 ohms. The key is to stay within the recommended power range for your wire and battery. In the world of rebuildables, you are the conductor, but always keep an eye on the safety score.
Technically speaking, a lower resistance requires more power (Watts) and puts more strain on your battery. For your safety, never go below 0.1 ohms, even on a high-performance electronic mod. If you are using a mechanical mod, it is imperative to calculate your build according to Ohm's law to ensure you don't exceed your battery's continuous discharge limit. Always verify the stability of your ohm reading on an electronic device before vaping.
