What is the ideal nicotine strength for a 30/70 e-liquid?
For a 30/70 (PG/VG) e-liquid, the ideal wattage typically falls between 40 and 80 watts, depending on your coil. Since this ratio is quite viscous, it requires higher heat and "Cloud Chasing" style equipment with large juice ports. Always start at the bottom of the recommended range engraved on your coil, then gradually increase the power until you find the vapor volume that really gets your engine purring.
Technically, Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is thicker and evaporates at a higher temperature than Propylene Glycol. Too little power won't properly vaporize this thick blend, which risks gunking up your coil or causing hot spitback. By staying within a high yet reasonable power range, you ensure perfect wicking and the production of dense, smooth clouds.
