Tips & Guides

What happens as resistance decreases?

The lower it is, the more it’s "sub-ohm": you produce more vapor, flavors are more intense, but you go through liquid faster than at an open bar. It’s "steam engine" mode—expect a high liquid budget and spare batteries.

Lowering resistance increases dissipated power ($P = V^2 / R$). This requires massive capillarity from the cotton to bring in enough liquid to cool the assembly. Vapor production is directly proportional to the volume of liquid vaporized per second.
