What is a hybrid top cap?
An hybrid top cap is a specific part on certain mechanical mods that allows direct contact between the battery and the atomizer's positive pin. Unlike standard connections, there is no intermediate pin between the two. This setup provides lightning-fast ramp-up and reduces voltage drop, but it requires constant vigilance to avoid an immediate short circuit at the battery level.
From a safety standpoint, it is mandatory that your atomizer's positive pin protrudes significantly (at least 1mm) from its 510 threading. If the pin is flat or flush, the atomizer's body will directly touch the battery, causing a venting event. Always verify your equipment's compatibility on an electronic mod before assembly. This system is strictly for experts who perfectly master the physical specifications of their gear.
