Why is a mechanical mod risky?
The main risk of a mechanical mod comes from the total absence of electronic protection. Unlike a standard box mod, no chipset will cut the power in the event of a short circuit, resistance that is too low, or battery overheating. If a building error occurs or if the battery is damaged, the current flows without limit, which can lead to venting or, in extreme cases, equipment failure. It is a powerful tool that tolerates no distractions.

To vape peacefully, it is imperative to check the condition of your battery wraps and test every new build on an ohmmeter or an electronic mod.
