Why does my DIY dish taste bland?
If your DIY has no taste, there are three usual suspects: a lack of maturation (steeping), an under-dosing of aroma, or the famous "vaper's tongue" where your taste buds go on strike. Sometimes, a base too rich in vegetable glycerin can also muffle delicate flavors. Try letting your bottle rest for an extra week at the back of a dark cupboard. Patience often ends up transforming a bland liquid into a little aromatic gem.
Also, check the condition of your coil: a clogged part no longer renders tastes correctly. Proper hydration is also essential for perceiving flavors well. If the problem persists despite respected steeping, try vaping strong mint for two days to reset your sensors. If this taste issue is accompanied by oral discomfort, ask a doctor's opinion to rule out any irritation or allergy to the components.
