Why does my box cut out automatically?
Your mod cuts off automatically to protect your equipment and your safety. This mechanism, often called "cut-off," kicks in if you press the fire button for too long (usually 10 seconds) or if the electronics detect an anomaly such as overheating or a faulty coil. If this happens, check that your build is properly tightened and let your device breathe for a few minutes before starting your session again.
Technically, the chipset monitors the voltage and the internal circuit temperature in real-time. The automatic cut-off prevents battery venting or the melting of insulators in case of accidental activation in a pocket. For your safety, ensure your batteries are in perfect condition, with no tears in the plastic wrap. This little electronic "stop" is the guardian angel that prevents your gear from turning into an improvised barbecue.
