Why is my battery swelling?
If your battery is swelling, it is a sign of internal gas buildup caused by advanced chemical wear or significant overheating. This phenomenon usually occurs after excessively intense charging cycles, using an unsuitable charger, or following a physical shock that damaged the cells. A battery that changes shape has become unstable and must never be used or recharged again to avoid any risk of short-circuiting.
