Tips & Guides

Why do some former smokers relapse?

Relapses are often explained by an underestimation of nicotine dosage or a stressful event that short-circuits your new habits. If your nicotine level is too low, your brain will eventually demand its due with the aggression of a debt collector, pushing you toward the easy fix you already know too well: the combustible cigarette.

Withdrawal isn't just about chemistry; it’s also a battle against years of Pavlovian reflexes that can resurface during a boozy night out or a major setback. Poorly maintained equipment or a burnt coil at the wrong moment can also shatter your confidence in vaping as a tool. Keeping an eye on your actual needs and always having a backup kit on hand is the best strategy to ensure a moment of weakness doesn't erase months of victory.
