Where should I dispose of a used heating element?
A used coil should be disposed of in collection bins dedicated to metals or electronic waste found at recycling centers and in some retail stores. Although it is mainly composed of stainless steel, it also contains e-liquid residue and burnt cotton that prevent it from being recycled as easily as your soda cans. Above all, do not throw it in your regular household trash or out in nature, as these small metal cylinders deserve proper processing.
