MTL vs DL: what’s the difference?
MTL (Mouth To Lung) is a tight draw like a cigarette—hold in the mouth, then inhale. DL (Direct Lung) is a direct inhale into the lungs, like a hookah. It’s the difference between sipping a cocktail and drinking straight from a fountain.
In MTL, airflow is restricted, favoring flavor concentration and throat hit. In DL, the airflow is wide open to cool low resistances and produce massive vapor clouds, prioritizing the feeling of "fullness" in the lungs.
