Tips & Guides

Does the cold affect the liquid?

Yes, cold directly changes the viscosity of your e-liquid and can temporarily alter how you perceive flavors. Below a certain temperature, vegetable glycerin thickens significantly, which can make it difficult for your wick to soak up the liquid and lead to dry hits.

Cold also slows down the steeping process because aromatic molecules become less mobile and struggle to blend properly with the base. If your liquid has had a chilly spell, don't panic; it will regain its original properties once it returns to room temperature without losing any quality. Storing your preparations in a stable, temperate place remains the ideal solution for a consistent vape.
