How long does a battery last?
A battery is like a loyal dog: it loves you, but eventually, it gets tired. Expect about 300 to 500 charge cycles before it becomes as useful as a fork for eating soup. If it’s damaged (torn wrap), replace it before it redecorates your living room "explosion-style."
Internal chemistry degrades over time, increasing the battery's internal resistance. This causes increased heat and faster voltage drops (voltage sag). To maximize their life, avoid fully discharging them below 3.2V.
