Tips & Guides

How can you prevent a short circuit?

A short circuit is when the current decides to take a shortcut instead of going through your coil. To avoid ending up with a hairstyle like Doc Brown from Back to the Future, check that your wire isn't touching the atomizer walls. Insulation is life: a clean build ensures you keep all ten fingers intact.

Technically, make sure your screws are tight and the coil leads are cut flush against the posts. Always use an electronic mod to test your builds: it has protections that will cut the power if something is wrong, unlike a mechanical mod which won't forgive a single beginner's mistake.
