How should you store your batteries?
To store your batteries safely, you must use a dedicated plastic carrying case or a silicone sleeve. Never leave a battery loose in a pocket or bag, as contact with metallic objects like keys or coins can cause an immediate short circuit. A battery should always be protected from impacts and extreme temperatures, away from direct sunlight or radiators.
Regularly check that the protective plastic (the wrap) is not torn; otherwise, your battery is exposed and the risk increases. If you don't plan to use them for a long time, keep them charged at around 40% in a cool, dry place. In short, a case costing just a few dollars is your best life insurance to avoid surprise sparks. A well-stored battery is a battery that remains your friend.
