How do you make a Clapton coil?
Making a Clapton coil involves wrapping a thin wire around a thicker core wire, exactly like a guitar string. This complex structure significantly increases the heating surface area without causing the resistance to drop drastically. It is the secret to enhanced flavors and very dense vapor, as the liquid settles into the micro-gaps created by the outer wrapping.
Technically, the outer wire acts as both a heat sink and a juice reservoir. However, this type of build has higher thermal inertia: it takes longer to heat up and cool down. For your safety, monitor your battery discharge, as these coils often require more power. Always ensure the legs of your Clapton are securely fastened and do not short-circuit against the atomizer's cap, as their larger diameter reduces the space available on the deck.
