Tips & Guides

At what temperature does a heating element operate?

An electronic cigarette coil typically operates within a temperature range of 180°C to 300°C, with an ideal sweet spot often found around 230°C for optimal vaporization. This setting is not fixed: it fluctuates based on your coil's resistance, the wattage applied, and your airflow opening, which cools the system to prevent turning your e-liquid into carbonized memories.

It is this thermal control that allows for the extraction of flavors and nicotine without crossing the critical threshold of toxic combustion. If you crank up the wattage without sufficient airflow, you risk a "dry hit," turning your cotton into charcoal. Finding the right ratio between power and cooling is therefore the key to ensuring a dense and chemically stable vapor, without ever burning your lungs out.
