The question nearly always arrives in the same words: which one is stronger. That is the wrong way in, because it assumes two ranges designed separately by two different houses were chasing the same thing.
They were not. This comparison therefore starts with Formule Explosive, with what it chose to do, then looks at what Heisenberg offers alongside. We sell both, which makes the exercise easier to write honestly.
Two brands, two logics
Poze builds a broad range, spread across every consumption format, with very short pack sizes and a consistent level of intensity from one product to the next. The idea is to cover every way of using it at the same level.
CBD First works differently: ranges stacked on top of each other, each one a tier, from the most accessible to the most intense. Heisenberg is the top floor of that stack. Vertical logic against horizontal logic, and it accounts for almost every difference that follows.
What Formule Explosive keeps for itself
Very short pack sizes
A bag of flower weighs 0.65 g, a resin 1.25 g. Little, and deliberately so. The benefit is real: you test a reference for minimal commitment, you switch flavour without finishing a jar, and you never keep a large quantity of an intense product lying around. For discovery, it is the most sensible format on the market.
Breadth of range
This is its genuine advantage over Heisenberg, and it is not arguable. Poze covers flower with Amnesia Haze and Lemon Flash, flower fragments for anyone unwilling to pay for presentation, two resins including Mousseux and Ice-o-Lator, and two pre-rolls with the Amnesia pre-roll and the Royal Hash pre-roll. Seven ways into the same level of intensity.
Aromatic register
Poze plays citrus and bright profiles where Heisenberg stays earthy and woody. If you like flowers that snap on the palate, Lemon Flash has no counterpart opposite it. We covered the full range and the difference between Poze's two Amnesias in dedicated articles.
Three cases where Formule Explosive stays the better choice
First case, discovery. If you are moving up a tier for the first time, 0.65 g is a considerably more cautious door than a several-gram bag, whatever your confidence level.
Second case, format. If you use resin or pre-rolls rather than flower, the question does not even arise: Heisenberg exists only as flower, Formule Explosive covers all three forms.
Third case, variety. If you tire of a profile quickly and like to switch, a range of seven references will hold you longer than a single one, however good it is. Our full review of Formule Explosive goes through each of them.
What Heisenberg puts up against it
Intensity
This is its argument and it stands on its own: it goes above. Formule Explosive already plays high, Heisenberg plays one notch higher still, to the point that we describe it as one of the strongest flowers available in France, and potentially the strongest of all. For anyone who has worked through Poze's level, that is the only valid reason to switch.
Consistency
Indoor cultivation, on a single range, from a supplier we have worked with for four years, which is long enough to have seen how they handle a batch that falls short. From one bag to the next, variation is slight. On a reference you dose tightly, that predictability counts for more than people assume at the moment of purchase.
Larger formats
2 g, 4 g and 8 g. The exact opposite of Poze's strategy. A drawback for discovery and an advantage for settling in: once a reference suits you and you use it regularly, rebuying a small bag every fortnight gets tiresome fast.
The technical point that separates them
Heisenberg is grown indoors. Formule Explosive flowers are mostly greenhouse grown in Italy, apart from the fragments, which come from an indoor blend. This is not a quality question but a control question: under glass, light and temperature depend partly on the season, whereas indoors everything is steered.
The practical consequence, and the only one that concerns you: batch-to-batch variation is mechanically lower indoors. On products used in very small amounts, knowing the next bag will behave like the last one carries real value.
Do you have to choose?
Not really, and that is the most honest conclusion we can write while selling both. The ranges do not replace each other, they complement each other: Formule Explosive to vary formats and profiles, Heisenberg when you want maximum intensity from a known quantity.
The only scenario where one makes the other redundant is someone who uses flower exclusively, never changes profile, and wants only the strongest thing available. That customer exists, they are simply less common than comparison articles suggest.
There is a practical version of that answer too. Several of our regulars keep a small Poze format for weeknights and a larger Heisenberg bag for occasions, which costs no more than committing to one range and spares them the slow erosion that comes from using the same thing every single time. Tolerance builds against whatever you use most, and alternating two ranges slows that down on both.
The rules both ranges share
Both hold the same commitment on THC, kept below 0.3 %, and both carry downloadable lab reports on their pages. Both also call for the same precautions, since they play on the same floor.
Start small, wait before judging, stay off the road and leave alcohol out of the evening. These ranges are for adults and are not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, under medical treatment, or for anyone prone to anxiety. Storage out of reach of children in both cases.
The verdict, as we give it over the counter
When the question comes by phone, the answer runs to two sentences. If you are discovering this level, take Formule Explosive: the short formats exist for exactly that and the range lets you explore. If you already know this level and find it comfortable, move to Heisenberg.
And if you want to compare for yourself before deciding, everything sits in the powerful CBD flowers category, both ranges side by side. The full Poze catalogue and the CBD First page detail what each house offers beyond these two.
